A. The
CMR-24® roof system uses the same exclusive panel seaming process and clip system used on
the MR-24® roof system. The panel seam is permanently roll formed for
weathertightness and the clip holds the panels securely to the structural system while
allowing the entire roof to move like a single membrane. MR-24 roof system is
available in 26 and 24 gage aluminum/zinc coated steel. The coating is Butler-Cote®
500 FP (a fluoropolymer containing 70%
|
Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000
resin). B. The steel
liner panel is corrugated for added strength and delivers a uniform, attractive appearance
to the underside of the roof. The liner also acts as a diaphragm to transfer loads
through the roof system. Available galvanized or painted, the liner panel can be
easily cleaned.
C. A vapor retarder keeps the
insulation material joints dry and eliminates condensation |
from forming under the roof panels. D. Superior quality rigid board insulation is
available in a variety of thicknesses and insulation values. The CMR-24 system can
deliver tested U-values as low as .05.
E. The bearing plate evenly
distributes the weight of the roof panels and clips to the supporting structural steel.
