Butler Hardwall Systems offers a simple, economical alternative to traditional bar joist construction for load or non load-bearing concrete or masonry wall projects.  They provide diaphragm bracing, so you can take advantage of the MR-24® standing seam roof system -- a system that's already performed on over 1 billion square feet of roof. The performance of the MR-24 roof system results from its ability to move with the forces of expansion and contraction.   A unique clip with sliding stainless steel tab allows the roof to move up to 2.5" as it reacts to daily and seasonal temperature changes.  The tab is securely seamed into the MR-24 roof panels with a full 360° Pittsburgh double-lock seam -- the same one used to seal beverage cans and fuel tanks. Lightweight prepunched joists are assembled quickly and safely on the ground, providing both time and labor savings.   The completed joist sections are raised into position and bolted to the rafters.   Prepunched holes maintain accurate alignment of both the structural and roof panel system to assure roof integrity and performance. Butler's Hardwall Systems follow conventional construction modularity -- which means you can design with the system; not around it.  The design flexibility extends to the system's appearance, too.  The three dimensional design of Delta Joist™, Delta II™ and Delta Hybrid™ creates a pleasing architectural appearance with uniform angles and patterns which can be used as a design element.
