Aesthetically Pleasing Appearance
The clean, bold lines of the VSR™ Architectural Standing Seam Roof System lend themselves to accomplish the highest levels of appearance.  Both a fluted and nonfluted pan design are available.   Butler-Cote® 500 FP, a full-strength Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® Fluropon® finish, is standard on your VSR painted roof.

Design Flexibility
The VSR roof system allows you the freedom of design expression to utilize the standing seam roof for almost any roof configuration.  The VSR roof panels are 16 inches wide and are manufactured from 24 gage material.  They're capable of spanning structural spacing up to five feet or can be applied to light gage steel framing or plywood decks.  The panel configuration easily accommodates complex roof geometries and simplifies flashing designs.  The popular architectural treatment of a continuous roof-to-fascia design is simply performed with the VSR roof system.

Performance Advantages
The VSR roof system has been designed with performance in mind.  Every product feature provides the durability and long life that architects demand.  It is specifically designed for architectural applications on roof slopes of 1/2:12 and greater.

Concealed fixed clips are to anchor the roof panels for panel spans of 40 feet or less.  Movable clips are furnished for longer spans.  The movable clips are capable of handling up to 2 inches of thermal movement.  Both the clips and panels have a factory installed sealant to provide that extra measure of protection to prevent any possibility of leaks from driving rains.

A unique panel endlap design offers factory prepunched and notched panels with a bottom reinforcing plate that contains five welded stainless steel studs.  This allows the endlap to be located directly above a structural member for long-term protection from roof traffic while maintaining its ability to move with forces of expansion and contraction.

Prepainted nuts matching the color of the roof complete this bolted endlap design.

Assurance of Quality
The VSR roof system handles severe winds and also offers excellent energy efficiency with up to six inches of insulation.  An optional thermal spacer block is available for added energy savings.

The VSR roof system has a U.L. Class 90 wind uplift rating.
